Buckets of Hope Option

With your help and those within your parish community Hope's on the Way, A MINISTRY OF THE Archdiocese's Diaconate, in collaboration with Catholic Charities Raleigh, NC, Diocese is endeavoring to provide 500 filled buckets of cleaning supplies. The simple act of providing cleaning supplies materially assists on the road to recovery.

You or your parish can help by:

  1. Be a sponsor of purchasing 10 buckets for $50 or 20 buckets for $100 or additional buckets for$5 each. We will solicit others to fill the buckets with supplies.

  2. Receive FREE buckets & List of items that you fill items from the cleaning supply list. The Buckets should be ordered now for delivery to your parish by Nov. 25, Thanksgiving weekend. Buckets that you have filled will be picked up by Hope’s on the way volunteers.

  3. Consider a service project for your school or religious education program. Participating students collect and fill buckets from a list of 14 cleaning products (Discount stores like dollar tree have most listed items.)

  4. If there those who wish to make a monetary donation for the purchase of cleaning supplies. A $20 donation will cover the cost of cleaning items to fill the bucket. All cash donations can be sent to: Hope’s on the Way, attention Deacon John Vidmar, treasurer, 4327 Deyo, Brookfield, IL 60513

  7. Consider being a collection site for buckets the week after Christmas, Dec. 26. The filled bucket are to be gathered at one location for shipment by Jan. 1, 2017
